The Chunichi Dragons started off by losing the best relief pitcher right before the season started, and we started off weak.

We did win the first two games and started strong, but soon started to lose in a stresk and won a few times.
Our new foreign players were struggling, and we also traded the best two players who used to start and position the center line of the field (the second baseman and the shortstop).

In May, one of our best players who just moved into our team this year won the monthly MVP, but was all about it. Our team was still downhill, having more losses compared to the winning streaks.

During the middle of the summer, Japan was known for hitting the highest temperature every day, and people and players were dying from the heat. This weather made our team a little more uphill and had more wins compared to the earlier season.

Nothing special happened later on during the season, and we started to use up our bench or younger players to give them a chance to play in the best conditions for the last two months.
We had this one pitcher who pitched 62 balls, gave up 10 runs, and kept on going until he finished the inning. This became a big deal from the fans, and people were trash talking since he was also a relief pitcher, throwing more than 60 balls during the one single inning.

After that, we spent the rest of the season using the young players and ended up with the season in last place in the Central League. Ended up with 56 wins, 5 ties, and 82 losses, having the worst record of the past five years.
I hope for a better season next year! Let's go Dragons!!!
